The project was created in 2022 by Sergei Dolzhenko, a professional athlete and squash and padel coach.

He spontaneously moved to Dubai in the spring of 2022, without knowing anyone here.

– It was very lonely – I didn’t want to watch everything on Netflix every night.

People who moved to Dubai again mostly met in Telegram chats. Sergey decided to create one of these chats – in it people could find opponents for playing padel.

The popularity of the game and the desire to communicate did their job – the chat began to grow with new players. Naturally, a community formed around him, which eventually formalized into a real project.

Today, “Padel Dubai” is a large but cozy community of padel players, both beginners (training sessions are provided for them) and advanced players. Every evening they compete for a special community prize – the most delicious pineapple of their life.

In their free time, community members explore the city and country together thanks to the No Boring Sunday project – every weekend all players are invited to various entertaining and educational events.
